LIFE’S PROJECTS can quickly turn troublesome. Insufficient planning, unsuitable personnel, unsteady execution, impracticable timeframes, all can lead to failure, and, yet, all can be remedied through a combination of practitioner wisdom and concrete actions. But how do you find these outstanding leaders? Wise and productive people can be difficult to identify, frequently hiding just out of sight, not necessarily willing to call attention to themselves, and too often not available to do what they do best, solve problems.

That is why I have created CERTAINWISDOM.COM, a meeting place for the few who have already attained “a certain wisdom”, the many who are striving toward that state of being, and, of course, all those seeking to contact such persons.

PROJECTS RUN BEST using proven and practical project management solutions, forged through real experience, tested in real world settings, sometimes born of real suffering, meals missed, long hours worked, tests run over and over, difficult meetings with demanding people, bad food eaten in inappropriate places.

IN CERTAIN INSTANCES the science and theory of project management can be a sufficient, but when a project jumps the track, stops making progress, or gets trapped in the starting gate then a veteran practitioner’s concrete wisdom may well be the right prescription; often making the difference between a gratifying success and a blatant failure.

MY BACKGROUND is long, wide, and deep, building reliable, advanced systems for many organizations, large and small, public and private. Over my long career I have developed a deep understanding of projects, people, and technology. Many different industries have engaged my project management services including government, health care, financial services, banking, energy, and manufacturing.
